Columbia Business School Executive MBA

A Columbia MBA degree offers students the opportunity to expand their business knowledge while simultaneously transforming their career and network.
EMBA students earn the credits required for graduation over a period five terms (six terms for the EMBA Saturday only format). Columbia Business School’s core curriculum, taken largely during the first two terms and designed to give fluency in the academic disciplines and applied functional areas, makes up a little more than half of the EMBA academic experience.
Year two adopts an executive education approach that is pragmatic and application-based, with a more flexible format: Students are able to choose from electives on the Friday/Saturday format, Saturday format, or Global Elective block weeks, which bring students from all of Columbia's EMBA programs — EMBA-New York, EMBA-Global and EMBA Americas — together for an intensive, cross-cultural learning experience. Students are also strongly encouraged to take an international seminar as one of their electives, which gives valuable insight into the international business world.
