Manchester Metropolitan Business School

Please note that worldwide study abroad is very competitive. If you are applying for worldwide, you may also consider submitting an Erasmus (European) application in the event you are not offered a space at one of our worldwide partners.
Here are the 5 steps to begin your Erasmus Study Abroad journey:
1. Interested?
Attend our Study Abroad talks, organised by the International Office and the Business School. These will be announced at lectures and on Moodle, and advertised throughout the Autumn term. You can also join our Study Abroad Facebook group or follow us on Twitter for information on the times and dates of talks.
2. Applying
Pick up an application form at any of the Study Abroad talks, or from the Student Hub, or Study Abroad Application Form. When completing your application, you must choose three partner institutions in order of preference, providing a rationale for each. Use the Guidance Notes attached to the application for help completing the form and for information on what makes a strong application.
Applications are open now until 10th February which is the final deadline. Applications will be considered on an on-going basis from 17th November, and places allocated from that date onwards. The number of places per university is limited, so early application is advised.
3. Submitting your application
4. Interview and outcome
You may be contacted for an interview with the Business School Study Abroad Team to further discuss your application for exchange. A decision on the outcome of your application will follow that interview, and you will be notified of the outcome via email.
5. Application to partner university
Successful students will be nominated to a partner university, who will then contact you to outline details of their application procedures. You will also receive information from both the Business School Study Abroad Team as well as the International Office on the next steps and requirements for exchange. You will be required to attend pre-departure meetings to receive important information and documents relating to your year abroad.
