Manhattan College Business School

Available online or on campus, the Manhattan College MBA program puts the big picture in perspective, helping you to become a more innovative and productive professional. It is open to all qualified students who have completed an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution of higher learning. The program is taught by distinguished faculty and features a curriculum that explores decision-making and risk management, leadership and social justice, and organizations in competitive environments.
You Don’t Need a Business Background
The MBA program is open to all students who hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited institution of higher learning. If your undergraduate degree was not in a business-related field, we offer the MBA Bridge Program — a set of four accelerated courses that cover the essential foundations of an undergraduate business education. These four courses are offered online and can be completed during the 14-week summer semester, with two courses taken per seven-week session.
On Campus or Online
The MBA degree can be completed as a full or part-time student and is offered on campus or fully online. Whether you are in the classroom, or on your laptop, you will have face-to-face time with your professors. You will get the chance to work on small-group projects and computer-based exercises with classmates.
Experiential Learning
Today, employers are looking for experience in addition to conceptual understanding. Our on-campus program's strong experiential learning component offers a variety of opportunities to apply knowledge in a real-world setting. Two of the 12 required courses for the on-campus MBA program must be experiential in nature. This can include:
- Internships: Our students have landed summer or semester-long internships at prominent companies including Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and the New York Mets
- International Study Trips: Our students traveled to India to visit local businesses and corporations as part of a study on the multinational aspects of BRIC economies
- Business Plan Projects: Our students traveled to Frankfurt, Germany, where they prepared a business plan for an emerging energy company, met a vice president of Deutsche Bank and visited the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
- Entrepreneurial Projects: Our MBA students worked with chemical engineering students to create and market a natural hair-dye product for L’Oreal and develop markets for new uses of olive oil produced in Palestine
- Research: Our students placed second in the Baylor University-USASBE Student Case Writing Competition
