University of Edinburgh Business School staff

I am responsible for working closely with the Business School staff and the University’s Estates and Buildings department to maintain, develop and manage the buildings and facilities of the Business School.
Areas included are:
- Building Maintenance
- Health & Safety
- Security
- Fire Safety and Staff Training
- Management of Refurbishment projects
- Waste Management
- Cleaning
- Catering
- First Aid
All ensuring that the buildings and accommodation are maintained to a high standard and to support the School’s teaching, research and corporate engagement.
Background
Having been part of the Scottish Court Service for 16 years, I join the Business School having spent the last 6 years as the Accommodation Manager within the Supreme Courts. This role was responsible for 3 High Court buildings in Edinburgh and the High Court in Glasgow. I was responsible for Building Maintenance, Health & Safety, Security, Fire Safety, Sustainability and Waste Management, Cleaning, Catering and First Aid.
