Columbia Business School Summer program

In partnership with the Columbia Business School, Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies offers an intensive six-week summer program. Business Edge gives advanced undergraduates and recent liberal arts graduates the opportunity to acquire a world-class business education in the following core competencies:
- Accounting
- Leadership and Strategy
- Marketing
- Finance
The integrated curriculum, taught by Columbia Business School faculty, incorporates project-based study, as well as career-oriented workshops and guest lectures. A case study final project applies the knowledge and skills accrued in each of the course modules of the program.
“Taking Business Edge was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I can confidently say that I’ve walked away with the strongest fundamentals in business that I could've obtained.”Jovan Bursac
2013 Business Edge student
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive an official Columbia University Statement of Attendance and will be better prepared to pursue an entrepreneurial path or an MBA. They will be able to analyze and interpret financial statements, understand the fundamentals of finance, develop innovative promotional strategies, and learn how to apply the core concepts of management and organizational theory in the workplace.
