Wharton Business School application

- Students spend the first year in Law School and the following summer in Law and Wharton courses designed specifically for the three-year MBA/JD.
- The second and third years include a combination of Law and Wharton courses, including a capstone course in the third year and work experience in a law firm or corporation during the summer between the second and third years.

Applying to the JD/MBA Program
Applicants to the Francis J. & Wm. Polk Carey JD/MBA Program should apply through Wharton’s application for admission, which includes an integrated JD/MBA application section. Applicants should follow Wharton’s application deadlines; applicants to the JD/MBA program must apply for Wharton’s Round 1 or Round 2 deadline and will not be considered in Round 3. Applicants to the program will receive their response from both Penn Law and Wharton according to Wharton’s decision release date schedule. Applicants must be admitted by both schools to enroll in the three-year program. Students must be accepted by Wharton either before starting at the Law School or during their first year in the Law School.
